Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Implement security protocols and incident response procedures
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams during security incidents
- Document security events and prepare compliance reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and defense technologies
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in federal/government environment
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) and network security
- Experience with NIST frameworks and federal compliance standards
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
