Responsibilities
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for federal systems
- Implement NIST cybersecurity frameworks and FedRAMP compliance protocols
- Monitor and respond to 24/7 security incidents using SIEM tools
- Develop incident response plans and conduct tabletop exercises
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams for threat intelligence sharing
- Train federal employees on cybersecurity best practices
- Manage security documentation and audit compliance
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DHS security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and penetration testing
- Knowledge of FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and CMMC frameworks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
