Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop and implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Coordinate incident response protocols for cyber threats
- Analyze intelligence data to identify emerging cyber threats
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and federal security standards
- Train federal staff on cybersecurity best practices
- Collaborate with multi-agency security task forces
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT security roles
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security protocols and tools
- Experience with SIEM platforms and threat intelligence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- US citizenship required
