Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support agency decision-making
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven recommendations
- Document methodologies and maintain data quality standards for federal reporting
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests for congressional briefings and agency reviews
- Stay current on evolving federal data governance frameworks and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods and hypothesis testing
- Clearance eligibility (or ability to obtain Secret clearance required)
- Experience with federal reporting tools (e.g., FedRAMP, GSA Schedule)
- Proven track record of translating technical findings for non-technical audiences
