Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT infrastructure including cloud systems and network architecture
- Implement NIST-compliant cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Coordinate cross-agency IT projects ensuring seamless data integration and system reliability
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex IT incidents requiring rapid resolution
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans with 99.99% uptime requirements
- Ensure all systems adhere to FISMA and federal privacy regulations
- Mentor junior IT staff and conduct quarterly security training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of enterprise IT infrastructure management experience
- Active Security+ CE certification with CISSP preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid network architectures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification a plus
