Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures in strict compliance with federal regulations and standards.
- Conduct system audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure data integrity and security.
- Lead the troubleshooting of complex hardware and software issues for internal stakeholders.
- Develop and document technical processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational workflows.
- Mentor junior staff members and provide technical guidance on best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent years of experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Active Public Trust Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and database management.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, virtualization, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical data to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with ITIL framework and service management.
