Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable intelligence for defense operations
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for large-scale federal systems
- Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and classification standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into strategic defense planning
- Document methodologies and maintain audit trails for all data processing activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and DoD security clearance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Expertise in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (HIPAA, PII handling, 5 CFR Part 2635)
- Proven ability to work with classified data under appropriate security protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefing non-technical stakeholders
