Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and validate large volumes of federal data to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting.
- Analysis & Modeling: Utilize SQL, Python, or statistical software to analyze trends, identify anomalies, and forecast outcomes.
- Reporting: Create visually compelling dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) and detailed reports for stakeholders and government officials.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and support strategic planning initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling practices adhere to federal regulations and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and experience with SQL databases.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Security: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Public Trust or Secret level).
- Attitude: Eager to learn and willing to complete a structured paid training program.
- Experience: 0-3 years of experience in data analysis or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if training is accepted.
