Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using SQL, Python, and Tableau for leadership decision-making
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FISMA) and security protocols
- Collaborate with clinical teams to translate data findings into actionable process improvements
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for accuracy and performance
- Stay current with federal data governance standards and emerging analytics methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal or healthcare data analysis
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Strong understanding of federal data security protocols and compliance requirements
- Certification in Tableau or equivalent visualization platform
- Experience with EHR systems (e.g., VistA, Cerner) highly desirable
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
