Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of server and network infrastructure within the Indiana state network.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Active Directory environments, ensuring secure user access and identity management.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and streamline government workflows.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal security standards and IT policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in Systems Administration, preferably in a large enterprise or government environment.
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server, PowerShell, and Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
