Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Generate actionable reports and visualizations for senior leadership and congressional committees
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST 800-53, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on national security projects
- Design and implement automated data pipelines for real-time analysis
- Maintain documentation of methodologies and findings for audit purposes
- Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear, concise formats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in federal/government data analysis
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (Privacy Act, FOIA)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment
- Experience with large-scale datasets and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
