Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Generate comprehensive reports for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on data integration projects
- Develop predictive models to support policy recommendations
- Present findings through interactive dashboards and visualizations
- Maintain accurate documentation of data methodologies and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years of federal government data analysis experience
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements (OMB, GAO)
- Certification in data analytics (e.g., SAS, Tableau) preferred
- Experience with geospatial analysis and GIS systems
- Strong written communication skills for technical audiences
