Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for senior leadership and congressional briefings
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (NIST, FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity across secure federal databases and cloud platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems and security protocols
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with DoD data architecture and OMB reporting requirements
- Certification in federal data management (e.g., CDMP, CISA) preferred
