As a Federal Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and performing complex statistical analyses on large datasets to support decision-making for federal agencies. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various federal sources to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis using SQL, Python, or R to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate data insights.
- Create detailed reports and presentations for government stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal data privacy regulations, ITAR, and DFARS requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and solve complex business problems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Experience with SQL database querying and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance (if required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
