Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights supporting national security initiatives
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for large-scale government datasets
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into actionable recommendations
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear, concise visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal or government datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong understanding of federal data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
