Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure across multiple city departments.
- Configure, deploy, and manage mobile devices and endpoints using MDM solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal and state data security regulations, including HIPAA and CJIS.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with minimal downtime for users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT best practices and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Valid CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support or system administration within a government or large corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server, and Office 365.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for training non-technical staff.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance or background check as required by government mandates.
