Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end IT project lifecycles for municipal infrastructure upgrades
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, vendors, and department stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal and state cybersecurity regulations
- Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
- Implement risk mitigation protocols and contingency planning
- Conduct regular stakeholder communications and progress reporting
- Oversee vendor contracts and service level agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of IT project management experience in government/public sector
- PMP or CISM certification required
- Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira/Confluence tools
- Proven track record managing budgets exceeding $1M
- Familiarity with Atlanta municipal systems and processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
