Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple federal sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal regulations, security protocols, and NIST standards.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data gaps and optimize data management workflows.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis results.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or contracting sector.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with data visualization tools is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
