Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact policy and operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data security protocols, including NIST and FedRAMP compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical data solutions.
- Perform rigorous data cleaning, validation, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data integrity.
- Create comprehensive reports and documentation for federal auditors and program managers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences.
