Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and validate large volumes of federal data to ensure accuracy and compliance with agency protocols.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that drive strategic decision-making.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikSense.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex data findings into clear, concise narratives for non-technical stakeholders and federal officials.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal regulations, FIPS standards, and NIEM requirements.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data workflows and recommend technical solutions to optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a federal, government, or defense contracting environment.
- Security Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and Python or R for statistical modeling.
- Tools: Strong experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and data warehousing concepts.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data to senior leadership.
