Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and integrate large datasets from various federal and internal sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that influence federal program outcomes.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to present findings to stakeholders clearly.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed written reports and briefings for government leadership, translating complex data into understandable insights.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal regulations, security protocols, and data governance standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts to define data requirements and improve analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or a cleared environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is highly preferred.
