Role Overview:
As a Federal Data Analyst, you will serve as a critical bridge between raw data and policy implementation. You will ensure data integrity, produce high-level reporting, and support federal compliance requirements. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large-scale federal datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for reporting purposes.
- Design and develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within federal datasets.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and subject matter experts to define data requirements and reporting needs.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and presentations to communicate findings to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including NIST standards and OMB guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for database querying and Python or R for advanced data manipulation.
- Experience with federal data standards (e.g., FIPS, ICAM) and security protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into executive summaries.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance.
