Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, integrate, and clean large-scale federal datasets from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical modeling and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies affecting agency operations.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop clear, concise, and visually compelling dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Policy Support: Collaborate with program managers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the effectiveness of federal programs.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal regulations, privacy laws, and agency security protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), R, or SAS. Experience with Tableau or PowerBI is required.
- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or Google Data Analytics Certificate is a plus.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance or higher.
