Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from diverse federal sources to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with strict data governance standards.
- Design and develop interactive data visualizations and executive dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik to monitor key performance indicators.
- Conduct complex statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within federal datasets.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and program managers to translate complex requirements into technical data solutions.
- Ensure all data processes and reporting adhere to federal security protocols, privacy regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Prepare detailed reports, data briefings, and presentations for executive stakeholders and government officials.
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and accessibility for the analytics team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal sector or government contracting.
- Proficiency in SQL for database querying and experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with federal data standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) and experience navigating security clearance processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
