Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large-scale federal datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy across all systems.
- Develop complex data models and interactive visualizations using SQL, Python, and Tableau to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to interpret data trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data privacy regulations, FISMA security standards, and agency-specific protocols.
- Prepare detailed reports and executive presentations, translating complex technical findings into clear business language.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain and update comprehensive documentation for data pipelines and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and query languages like SQL.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or PowerBI.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations, including NIST frameworks and OMB guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical data to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
