Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate security breach mitigation
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and CUI regulations
- Train federal employees on security best practices and protocols
- Manage security access controls and identity management systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into system architectures
Qualifications
- Active U.S. government security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal information security roles
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Expert knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
- Experience with FedRAMP and CMMC compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- U.S. citizenship required
