Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems supporting veteran healthcare services
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing enterprise-level applications
- Ensure compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) requirements
- Manage cloud infrastructure migration projects using AWS/GCP platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement cybersecurity protocols
- Coordinate with federal agencies to integrate shared IT services
- Mentor junior staff on federal IT best practices and security standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- GS-12 level experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active CISSP or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in cloud architecture (AWS/Azure) and DevOps tools
- Demonstrated experience with federal IT security frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- Experience with federal acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS)
