Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems ensuring 99.9% uptime and compliance with NIST standards
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including network monitoring, threat detection, and incident response
- Coordinate with cross-agency teams to develop and execute IT modernization strategies
- Provide technical leadership for cloud migration projects using AWS GovCloud and Azure Government
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for critical infrastructure
- Train federal employees on secure IT practices and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with OMB and GSA on federal IT policy implementation
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in federal IT infrastructure management
- CompTIA Security+ and AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications required
- Expertise in FedRAMP compliance frameworks and zero-trust architecture
- Demonstrated experience with federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in IT risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability Determination
