Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal clients.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Enforce compliance with federal cybersecurity standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage project lifecycles from planning to deployment using Agile methodologies.
- Document system configurations and update technical manuals regularly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Certifications such as Security+, Network+, CISSP, or GS-12 federal experience.
- Proven experience with federal IT systems, network security, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and federal compliance regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
