Responsibilities
- Continuous Monitoring: Analyze network traffic and security logs 24/7 to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Incident Response: Lead the technical response to security breaches and cyber-attacks during off-peak hours.
- Configuration Management: Maintain and optimize firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Compliance Reporting: Generate detailed reports on security posture and audit findings for federal and state stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Partner with local and federal law enforcement to share threat intelligence.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent military experience.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in network security or SOC analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and Cisco networking equipment.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
