Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain federal server infrastructure and network systems.
- Implement and enforce strict security protocols to ensure compliance with NIST and federal regulations.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and perform regular system backups.
- Collaborate with state and local agencies to provide technical support and optimize IT workflows.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate risks to government data.
- Document technical procedures and maintain detailed records of system configurations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent military/government experience).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in IT systems administration within a federal, state, or local government environment.
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one immediately).
- Proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud-based government platforms (e.g., FedRAMP compliant).
- Strong understanding of network security principles and disaster recovery planning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-security environment.
