Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal network infrastructure, ensuring strict compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Configure and troubleshoot complex IT systems, including Windows Server, Linux, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement immediate mitigation strategies for federal assets.
- Provide high-level technical support and training to federal personnel and contractors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Document system configurations and maintain accurate technical records in compliance with federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (Top Secret preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or cybersecurity within a federal environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, and cloud computing services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
