Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain complex federal information systems and networks in accordance with FedRAMP standards.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity protocols, including access controls and incident response procedures.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to mitigate risks.
- Provide technical support and training to federal staff on new technologies and security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and integrate new applications.
- Document all system configurations, changes, and incident reports in compliance with federal documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen for federal employment eligibility.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, OR equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support or system administration within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
