Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal hardware and software systems.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime for critical government applications.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to maintain compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Conduct system audits, vulnerability assessments, and security configurations.
- Collaborate directly with government stakeholders to translate technical requirements into effective solutions.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or systems engineering within a federal or government environment.
- Active Top Secret or Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with network security protocols, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and incident management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
