Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal network architectures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, including FedRAMP, FISMA, and OMB circulars.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and upgrade legacy systems.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing to protect sensitive government information.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and federal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain).
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or federal project management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
