Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal information systems during off-hours to ensure 24/7 operational readiness.
- Execute system patching, configuration management, and hardware maintenance.
- Monitor system logs and troubleshoot technical issues in compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits to protect sensitive data.
- Collaborate with on-call teams to resolve critical incidents and minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and audit trails.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship required for federal employment.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or Top Secret).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a high-stakes environment.
