Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot federal network infrastructure and hardware systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols and IT regulations (FISMA/NIST).
- Provide advanced technical support and training to federal employees.
- Conduct regular system audits, security assessments, and vulnerability scans.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and maintain accurate system logs.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Technical Skills: Experience with Cisco networking equipment and Windows Server environments.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with federal IT governance and compliance standards.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a professional demeanor.
- Background: Ability to pass a standard background investigation.
