We are seeking a highly skilled Federal IT Security Analyst to support our defense and intelligence clients in the Dallas, TX area. This is an immediate hire opportunity for a proactive professional ready to make an immediate impact on national security infrastructure.
As part of our elite team, you will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical government systems while maintaining strict compliance with federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems.
- Monitor security alerts and incident response activities to mitigate cyber threats in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP frameworks for all assigned systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust security controls and policies.
- Manage security documentation and maintain audit readiness for federal inspections.
- Provide technical guidance on security best practices to junior staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security within the federal sector or a cleared environment.
- Certifications: Security+, CISSP, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture and security protocols.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
