Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant security frameworks across federal IT systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Monitor 24/7 security operations center alerts for rapid incident response
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate breach mitigation efforts
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, CUI, and FedRAMP regulations
- Train federal personnel on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
- Collaborate with DHS, NSA, and FBI on threat intelligence sharing
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in enterprise security operations
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) and threat detection
- Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, CUI)
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability Determination
