Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant security frameworks across federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Lead incident response protocols for cyber threats and data breaches
- Develop security policies and procedures for federal information systems
- Coordinate with DHS CISA teams on national security initiatives
- Maintain CISSP or equivalent security certifications
- Train federal staff on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security roles
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Expertise in FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and FedRAMP requirements
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) and threat intelligence platforms
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with sensitive national security data
