Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain federal cybersecurity protocols across classified and unclassified networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on agency systems
- Develop incident response plans for cyber threats and data breaches
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA standards
- Train personnel on security best practices and emerging threats
- Monitor security systems using SIEM tools and generate compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Active CISSP or Security+ certification required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal IT security environments
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux systems and network security protocols
- Familiarity with FedRAMP and CUI handling procedures
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
