Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST cybersecurity frameworks across DoD networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage incident response protocols for security breaches
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Oversee access control systems and identity management
- Ensure compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency security task forces
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Minimum 3 years federal IT security experience
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies (DoDI 8500.01)
- Active Secret security clearance
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight)
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance post-hire
