In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and government stakeholder needs, ensuring compliance with strict federal regulations while delivering cutting-edge technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT systems in compliance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Conduct comprehensive system architecture reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with government program managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and confidentiality across all federal projects.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance on best practices for federal contracting.
- Prepare and present technical reports and briefings to senior leadership and government officials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal contracting, government IT, or defense sector.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or equivalent DoD IAM Level III certification.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management and DevOps practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of briefing senior executives.
