Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain complex IT infrastructure and network systems to support federal applications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and project managers to integrate new technologies into existing federal systems.
- Security Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to federal security standards, FISMA compliance, and data privacy regulations.
- Technical Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and maintenance for hardware and software issues affecting agency operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, including system diagrams, configuration logs, and standard operating procedures.
- Project Leadership: Assist in the planning and execution of IT modernization projects and system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: At least 4 years of specialized experience in IT systems analysis, design, and implementation.
- Clearance: Must be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.
- Certifications: Active CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), network protocols, and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with diverse stakeholders.
