Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts on federal networks during the night shift to ensure immediate response to threats.
- Perform routine vulnerability scans and patch management to maintain system integrity.
- Document security incidents and generate detailed reports for federal stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, FISMA, and other federal cybersecurity frameworks.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to escalate and resolve critical technical issues.
- Conduct user access reviews and adhere to strict identity management protocols.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Security, IT Operations, or a related federal support role.
- Experience working rotating night shifts is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are a plus.
