Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize electronic health record systems (EHR) for 50+ clinical departments
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives including HIPAA compliance and threat mitigation
- Coordinate IT infrastructure upgrades across 3 Columbus-area facilities
- Train staff on new healthcare technology platforms and workflows
- Collaborate with VA leadership on digital transformation projects
- Provide tier-3 technical support for complex IT systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure management within healthcare/federal sector
- Active Security+ CE certification or DoD 8570 compliance
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of FISMA compliance frameworks
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud migration projects
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA background clearance
