Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 Technical Support: Resolve complex hardware and software issues for federal personnel with minimal supervision.
- Network Administration: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) ensuring 99.9% uptime.
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with NIST and DoD standards.
- System Deployment: Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and applications.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions and create documentation to assist federal staff with technology usage.
- Incident Management: Manage IT service tickets and incidents efficiently through our ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: Active Secret Clearance is required. CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT support or similar environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic scripting (PowerShell/Batch).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with senior government officials.
