Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal information systems in strict compliance with NIST and FISMA regulations.
- Perform regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk management activities.
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software environments.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and VPNs.
- Document system configurations and security protocols for federal reporting and auditing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cybersecurity best practices and disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Federal Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 4 years of IT experience, preferably within the federal or military sector.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GSEC are strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory administration.
- Strong understanding of network security protocols, TCP/IP, and VPN technologies.
