Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT infrastructure across classified and unclassified networks
- Implement NIST compliance protocols for data protection and system hardening
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for federal employees and contractors
- Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on joint security initiatives
- Document all IT procedures and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DHS security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure management with federal/government experience
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Strong knowledge of FISMA, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP standards
- Proven experience with incident response and threat mitigation
