Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal network infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime and security compliance.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees across various departments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data in accordance with NIST standards.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance assessments, and hardware upgrades.
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver IT solutions that align with federal agency objectives.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a federal IT environment or similar high-security sector.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure).
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, firewall management, and data protection laws.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
